PlayStation 3 (PS3) New Releases:
Call of Juarez: The Cartel - Compare Prices
All the wild west gun-slinging of the last "Call of Juarez" game, only this time you're one of several forms of law enforcement fighting to bust up a cartel in the streets of LA. So, maybe it's quite different than the last one.
Captain America: Super Soldier - Compare Prices
It wouldn't be a blockbuster movie if it didn't have a video game tie-in, and even better, "Captain America: Super Soldier" is in 3D. If you have a 3D TV, you know it's games like this that truly blow friends away.
PlayStation Network (PSN) New Releases:
Limbo
File under must-have indie game. "Limbo" got a lot of well deserved press, and now we get to enjoy the black and white platformer on the PS3. I know, that description doesn't do it justice. It's dramatic, it's beautiful, and it does innovative things with the puzzle-platformer genre.
Fast Draw Showdown
Draw! No really, that's the game. Test your skill as you get into shootouts with outlaws. Take that so-called "Call of Juarez: Time Travel Edition" a real cowboy game!
Dead Block
I know, I too am almost sick of zombie games. On the plus side, this one is a strategic defense game, which I never tire of.
Baseball Stars 2
Sure it's baseball, but it's unlicensed and it's uber-arcadey. "Baseball Stars" is the spiritual successor to the great sports games of yore on the arcade classic Neo-Geo.
King of Fighters '95
Speaking of arcade classics, this is old-school fighting at its finest. 26 characters, wild moves, teams, semi-understandable story... "King of Fighters '95" a game so cool it doesn't need to identify which century it's in.
PlayStation minis:
Strangeness
Nope, that's not the name of a game, but rather what Sony did this week with it's PS minis announcement. For some reason they mixed in several minis that have already been released with the new releases. So, don't shoot the messenger, here are the some-new-some-not minis releases for the week: Me Monstar: Hear Me Roar, Angry Birds, Athena, Guerilla Wars, Hal 21, Ikari Warriors, Marvin’s Maze, Ozma Wars, Sauke vs Commander, Vanguard
