Half-Life 2 Episode One PC

To enable cheats in Half-Life 2: Episode One you must use a command line parameter when starting the game. It sounds complicated, but it is actually a fairly simple process. Here are the steps:

Modify the Shortcut
The first, and really the only step to enabling cheats in Half-Life 2 is to modify the shortcut that opens the game.

Now that the shortcut has been modified, you can open the game. Press the ~ (tilde) key to bring up the console and type in sv_cheats 1 and press enter to enable cheats. Now any of the following cheat codes can be entered in the same manner, by bringing up the console (pressing ~), entering the code, and pressing enter.

God Mode (server only)

Spawn Indicated Item
Cheat code: give

Reduce Your Health
Cheat code: buddha

Damage Player
Cheat code: hurtme

All Weapons
Cheat code: impulse 101
