Now, many incoherent, ""This thing's not working!"" types would turn this game down because their army of unupgraded, inexperienced archers got trampled and killed by a single group of high rank horsemen with heavy armor and upgraded weapons. However, this game is FULL of strategy, which only comes out in pro online play. Now you may be shunned as a noob when you forget to build a smithy in your first 3v3 or get your hero killed when you ran into a troll, but the game is a great one. I just LOVE the fact that horses can TRAMPLE! you can bowl over footmen, bang. But then you can use pikemen to shear the horses down. But then you can recruit Legolas and snipe them down. The game is so rich in strategy and counters. Leadership too! many heroes and buffs use ""leadership"" to increase the power of normally weak units, making them stronger, toucher and more deadly. And to the contrary of the main review's last line, you CAN get your soldiers out of towers... sigh... just click on the damn tower and tell them to get out. Sadly it has fallen into lack of support and no patches have been made for a long time. And while maybe the ""spot-build"" design may hamper the epiccness of a battle, it means victory lies in teamwork and tactics. You can slowly progress in online play and gain trusted friends to play on your team, not be the FAT KID (last pick for teams) and destroy your foes.
