PS3 Releases August 22-26, 2011

"Deus Ex: Human Revolution" vs "Comix Zone" may not seem like a fair fight, being that one was a SEGA Genesis game and the other a HD PS3 game, but both have action and atmosphere in spades, so don't count out the retro game.

PlayStation 3 (PS3) New Releases:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Compare Prices
Adam Jensen is a cyborg of the highest order. He's also one caught in the middle of a fight to determine the evolutionary path humanity will take. More action and less RPG than "Deus Ex" games of yore, "Human Revolution" looks like a don't miss title.

PlayStation Network (PSN) New Releases:

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
Gorgeous 2D artwork, tight controls, incredible balance, "Street Fighter 3: Third Strike" is a work of art. Pick your favorite of 19 iconic warriors (Chun Li?) and be prepared to not only fight, but to be evaluated on your skills by the Grade Judge System.

Hamilton’s Great Adventure
If you like puzzles and playing with friends, this co-op puzzle game will be a rare treat for you!

Comix Zone
This is truly one of the great classics from the heyday of the SEGA Genesis/Megadrive era. When I put it onscreen my students kept point out, hey this game stole this and this and this... I had to remind them that "Comix Zone" came first, and that many of the best action platformers have taken cues from it, not the other way around.

PSone Classics:

Parasite Eve II
The Neo Mitochondrial Creatures (NMCs) have infested LA and it's up to you (as Aya Brea) to stop them in this classic game from Square.

PlayStation minis:

Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death
This controversial game is based on a series of very popular "Fighting Fantasy" Gamebooks. We'll see how series translates over, I for one can't wait!

Hysteria Project 2
This was a hugely popular horror game on the iOS app store, now you can experience the terror on the big screen.
