Far Cry 2 PC Cheat Codes

Cheat codes for the computer game Far Cry 2. Codes include 999 ammunition, proceed to next level, warp to spawn point and other codes. In addition, codes for bonus levels are also provided.

Using cheat codes in Far Cry 2 on the PC requires starting the game with a command line parameter added to the shortcut. More information on adding a command line parameter can be found here.

Begin the game with the -DEVMODE command line parameter. Beginning the game this way will unlock all levels. Then, during gameplay enter one of the codes below to activate the corrosponding cheat.

The following cheat codes are available for Far Cry 2 on the personal computer (PC).

All of these codes will unlock additional 'bonus' and 'extra' missions.

Codes for Far Cry 2 are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as they appear.

To enter a code from the Main Menu select Additional Content, then select Promotion Code and enter one of the following cheat codes.

The message 'You have successfully unlocked the missions' will appear to confirm correct code entry.

What Are Cheat Codes?

In the world of electronic video games the possibilities are endless. Video games have evolved from the point of basic two dimensional action to full 3D worlds which can be sculpted by the players.

The realism has increased to such a point that often times its hard to tell the differences at a glance between a rendered image in a video game and the real thing.

One thing that has remained constant in video games are cheats, codes, and Easter eggs. But what exactly is that?

A cheat code is a button combination or password which triggers an event or affect within a video game. Cheats can be as simplistic as adding ammunition to a gun, or increasing a character's health, or changing the character to a completely different character.

An Easter egg is a surprise hidden within the game, the history of the very first Easter egg is unknown, but developers continue to add them to games and players seem to enjoy scouting around to find them.

In addition to cheats that can be entered through a controller or keyboard there are also cheat devices. These pieces of hardware, or software, are made exclusively to help gamers enter cheat codes, or otherwise modify the game's contents. Some popular examples are Game Shark, Code Breaker, and Action Replay.

Cheats and codes are used by millions of gamers worldwide, and in general are completely safe to the system and game they are using. Manually entering a cheat code while playing a game will simply enable a portion of the game's built in code so the desired affect will be achieved. (i.e.; Invincibility)

There are times however that you may want to use caution enabling a cheat code. Cheat codes that require the use of downloadable files are particularly risky because only the person that made the additional code knows exactly what is being done when you use the file. Of course, you don't hear many horror stories about a cheat messing someone's system up, so you're probably safe.

It is important to note that the use of any code, either by entering it or using a patch, may cause the game to become unstable. The most likely affect will be the inability to save your game properly. Whenever there is a risk involved I am certain to point this out on the individual cheat pages.

Zoo Tycoon PC Cheat Codes

Press SHIFT + $ to get money, $10,000 to be exact. Holding SHIFT + $ will increase your cash quickly. Using this code at the beginning of a game is best. Note: Park fences break and animals may escape if used later in the game. Code cannot be entered while game is paused. (there is a file edit version of this cheat below which only works on new games)

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "zoo.ini" file in the game folder. Locate the following lines and change the values after the "=" as indicated. Note: The changes only affect new games and do not work on saved games.

Name one of your exhibits accordingly for the desired effect. Naming a new exhibit using these cheats have crashed many people's games.

Copralite Corner - All dinosaur poo will turn into rocks.
Super Croc - Deinosuchuse will be in the Animal Adoption window.
Microsoft - Double Exhibit Donations.
Blue Fang - Guests pay 2x original amount for attractions.
Wonderland - More people will come to see that exhibit.
Cretaceous Corral - Triceratops will be in the Animal Adoption window.
Xanadu - Unicorn will be in the Animal Adoption window.
Super Croc - Unlocks a giant croc named something similar to Deinosushus (spelling on this may be off a bit).

Zoo Tycoon Cheat Codes

Cheat Method via File Edits
1. Open config.ztd with winzip or another compression tool.
2. Open Economy.cfg with notepad or wordpad.
3. Search for cZooDooRecyclingAmount and change the number to whatever you want. This will be the profit for every recycle you do. Normally you recycle around 8-12 times per month.
4. Also, look for cKeeperCost which should be 800. This is the salary you pay your zoo keepers. Change it to something lower and your expenses will decrease dramatically.
5. If you want more money at start of the game, edit zoo.ini with notepad or wordpad and find a line called MSMaxCash. Change that to whatever you want and you can start out with a couple of million.

Note on changing exhibit names: Let the game auto name your exhibit, then change it, otherwise you may lock up the game.

All Scenarios
Name a guest Akiyama to unlock all the scenarios

Hatch an Egg
Name a guest Eggman and all dinosaur eggs will hatch after a scientist checks it.

Unlock the Triceratops
Name one of your exhibits Cretaceous Corral. This will unlock the Triceratops.

Money - Instant 10K
Press Shift+4 [like typing the $ symbol], and you'll get an instant $10,000.

Unicorn
Name one of your exhibits Xanadu. This will unlock the Unicorn.

Get 2X Donations
Name an exhibit Microsoft.

Cutt Off Salaries
Name a tour guide Rosalie and all your tour guide's salaries will turn to zero.

DoDo Bird
