Arizona Wildlife Views TV continues on PBS Channel 8 tonight

For those of you who receive Arizona PBS Channel 8 (KAET-TV), don't miss out on the 2011 season of Arizona Wildlife Views, the Arizona Game and Fish Department's Emmy-winning television show.
Another new episode airs tonight, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. This week's show includes the following segments:

Youth Duck Stamp – Young artists compete for the privilege of having their work used on an official duck stamp.
Audubon Arizona Education Center – The Rio Salado project in downtown Phoenix boasts a new education center.
Wildlife Partnerships – No agency can successfully conserve wildlife without the aid of many governmental and non-governmental partners.

The 13-week run of new episodes airs on Channel 8 at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays except when pre-empted by KAET special events.

Arizona Wildlife Views on KAET Channel 8 tonight at 7:30

The latest episode of Arizona Wildlife Views TV hits the air tonight in Phoenix. The show will be broadcast at 7:30 pm on KAET Channel 8, Public Television.

Segements of this episode include:

Project CAT – CAT stand for Carnivores and Teaching, a unique science program being introduced into some schools in Arizona help students better understand impacts on our eco system.

Bunker Trap – This Olympic shooting sport is catching on in Arizona and our host Jim Harken gives it a try.

Tempe Trout Stocking – Every year we welcome back the trout to Tempe Town Lake with a celebration and lots of free fishing.

Hunters & Anglers – Arizona’s hunters and anglers were the first conservationists in our state, making sure there would be abundant wildlife for future generations.

Arizona Wildlife Views TV show is produced by the Audio Visual Department of the Information & Education branch of the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Thirteen half hour shows, (without commercial interruption), are produced each year. The show is about wildlife, fishing, hunting, boating, off-roading and many other subjects about the endless opportunities that the Grand Canyon State has to offer. The Arizona Game and Fish Department is honored to give you a look at Arizona's great outdoors!

Bald Eagle Rescue – Three baby eagles are rescued from their nest after an invading adult eagle tries to kill them.
Turtle Trapping – A group of home-schooled students and their families aid in capturing non-native turtles that have been released into local waterways.
Jayme Smith – A young woman convicted of poaching wildlife passes her hard-learned lessons on to other young people.
