Following last week's announcement of an Xbox Live Games On Demand birth for certified cult-hit, Deadly Premonition, Rising Star Games has now announced a £14.99 pricing for the title as it's made available over Xbox Live from today.
Given that some games are listed at their full retail RRPs on the Games On Demand service despite being launched some time ago (Halo: Reach will still set you back £49.99), Deadly Premonition offers some half-decent value for money in comparison.
The title launched in the West last October with a £24.99 RRP and copies of the game at retail outlets have been scarce. Coupled with the game's cult status (thanks to widely divergent feedback from critics), this has allowed Deadly Premonition to hold its value fairly well despite limited sales.
Various online retailers in the UK are currently selling Deadly Premonition for between £10 and £20, so the Games On Demand pricing does at least appear to be splitting the difference.
